About Us
Penny A. Rasins ~ Owner / Consultant
|

|
Penny Rasins founded Healthcare Management Services in 1996 after a 23 year career in the healthinsurance industry. She said her reason was simple, 'It became very frustrating seeing the the direction the insuranceindustry was headed
|
|
It went from ‘How can I get this claim paid?’ to ‘What policy language can we use to deny
payment.’ I decided to use my extensive
knowledge of the insurance industry and go to work for the other side.”
Commitment to the success of
her clients is at the core of her business philosophy. Never satisfied with the status quo, she continually
looks for ways to enhance the services available to her clients. HMS is structured to be more than just a
billing service, she states, but rather a business partner. Marketing,
financial planning and networking are just a few of the services provided.
Penny has gained the respect of
the medical community as evidenced by her solicited contribution to the AORN
publication RN First Assistant Guide to Practice - Reimbursement for the
Self-Employed RNFA.
With a very experienced and
capable staff to handle the day to day operations Penny will on occasion take
some time away from the business to participate in AKC events with her champion vizslas.
