Our Approach & Business Philosophy

One thing that sets us apart from much of our competition is the fact we NEVER get between you and your money!  Many billing services will file claims so that payments go to the billing service.  Even if the check is made payable to you if you don’t get it directly from the insurance company then your cash flow is negatively impacted.

HMS files claims as if they were coming directly from you and therefore claim payments are made directly to you, not us.  Requests from the insurance company, Explanation of Claim Payments, denials and any other issues that are sent to our clients are faxed to us for handling but the money stays in your account.

The only time we are in the forefront of your business is in dealing with patients.  Patient Statements have your name and address as the remit to but it is our toll free number that appears on the statement so patients call us, not you, with their questions or concerns.

Although we want you to think of HMS as your business partner it is you, the client, that ALWAYS has ultimate control in how your business operates.
